Proximity Award

I've been given my first bloggy award! Wow! Annie from Itty Bitty Love has given me this award. I am truly honored. Words can have such an amazing power. I am not a competitive person, and this is one of the things I most admire in the Montessori philosophy. However, realizing that someone there thought of you, even though you write in a completely bizare language, has brought tears to my eyes. I appreciate it so much, Annie. One World One Heart Giveway

Welcome!

This is my first year participating in the One World One Heart giveaway (actually, this is my first giveaway ever) . This wonderful event was founded by Lisa Swifka at a Whimsical Bohemian. It is an international event meant to introduce bloggers to each other. More than 600 artists from all around the globe are participating in this event. Such a wonderful idea!


As I have a 17 months adorable son, I couldn't find time to create what I wanted for this amazing event. So, I did what I always do, when I am in trouble and need help. I've asked my dear and very talented husband (and I am objective, as you can see by yourself) to contribute one of his amazing works.

So this is our offering. If you are our lucky winner, you are invited to pick one A4 print of my husband's creations from his new Etsy shop! That way you can have exactly what you are wishing for! If more than 100 people comment to this post, we will draw a winner for each additional 100 comments.

Our giveaway is open to all - both Israeli and International posters, actual bloggers and non-bloggers. Everyone is invited to participate. To win this giveaway, simply leave a comment on this post, emphasizing your name and email address. I will draw a name on February 12 and announce the winner. I will choose the winner via a random number generator.

Also, I have a little request, if I may. My husband is applying for MFA (Master of Fine Arts) Graduate Program in a few institutes in the US. Please cross fingers for him! However, if he does get excepted (please please please - he will be the happiest person), we will need to look for a full scholarship. This is the only way we can make it happen. So, if you happen to know of any relevant scholarship, please let me know.

הקולות שלך משתנים

אתה גדל. כל כך מהר!!!!

הקולות שלך משתנים. אני אפילו לא יודעת איך להסביר אותם. אם פעם כשרצית משהו, היית אומר: "Eh" קצר, עכשיו פתאום מתחילה להשמע גם הברה ארוכה יותר: "Ehhhhh". הצחוק המתגלגל שלך לעיתים גם הוא נשמע כצחוק של ילד גדול יותר.

וזה בסדר. עדיין, רציתי להגיד לך שגם אם תרצה להאט קצת - גם זה יהיה בסדר. אנחנו לא ממהרים לשום מקום...:)

אתה אוכל!

היום קרה הבלתי יאומן.

כהרגלנו, ביום שני מדי שבועיים, נפגשנו בקבוצת אמהות ותינוקות אצל תמר.

תמיד במפגשים אצל תמר יש ארוחת ערב עשירה ומגוונת להפליא. זה לא חדש. מה שהיה חדש היום הוא שאיך שנכנסת לביתה המקסים של תמר, ניגשת ישירות לשולחן הערוך, טיפסת על הכסא והשתתקת. ישבת וחיכית בשקט עד שעזרתי לתמר לסדר כמה דברים בבית, עד שהוצאנו את כל האוכל. ו... ביקשת לאכול.

וכך ישבת ואכלת עוד זמן רב. אפילו לא הצטרפנו למעגל, אלא השתתפנו בו בשלט הרחוק. מצב לחלוטין חדש לנו...:) כמו גם המראה הזה שלך מרוח כל כולך בלבנה... המאכל האהוב עליך בזמן האחרון. צחקנו היום עם אבא שכך כנראה היית אמור להראות בגיל של 7-8 חודשים. אך אנחנו מברכים את פניך המלובנות בכל עת..:)

אז יכול להיות שלעיתים אתה עוד תעדיף אבנים על קלמנטינות (כפי שעשית כאן בטיול שלנו בוואדי שליד הבית לפני כחמישה שבועות). וזה גם בסדר. אבא ואני שינינו גישה לפני כמה זמן - אנחנו לא מודאגים יותר, ויותר מזה, אנחנו מכריזים בקול רם שאתה אוכל! ולא מוסיפים מעבר לכך שום הסברים.
